NeatO

NeatO was a mock corporation set up by a group of artists at the University of California at Santa Barbara. The project was a satire on the American corporate structure. It involved creating and "selling" a name with no real product. The promotional material below was part of Ryan Danger Sims's contribution to NeatO. This project was completed in 2000.

While the video may look a little rough by today's standards, this project was completed years before modern interpolated rotoscoping techniques existed (eg. the "Talk to Chuck" ad campaign for Charles Schwab). Every frame of this video was processed individually using a combination of programs including After Effects, Streamline, Flash, Quick Time Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
