For this piece,
I created a crude
intercom system and installed it
into the air vents of a public
restroom.
Each communication
device consisted of
a pair of two-way radios. One was set to
receive, and the other was set to
transmit. This allowed sound to be
exchanged between the men's and women's
bathrooms, making private space public.
